Application Walkthrough: Creating an Application for UW’s MSIM

Hi there. This is a quick overview of creating an application for the University of Washington’s online MIM program. Um, so you’re gonna go ahead and log in.

If you haven’t created an account, you’ll have the opportunity to do so here. Um, just fill out your name and email address

and create a password. I’m gonna go ahead and log in, has my credentials filled out already. Um, so I’m going to open up a new graduate application.

You select create application. It’ll take you to the profile information section, fill out all of the required information here,

and you can also fill out any supplemental information, uh, that they’re asking for as well. Um, then you click save and continue.

Right at the bottom here, it’ll take you to the contact information page. Once again, just fill out the required information, uh,

as indicated in the Red Bold font. Um, academic history, uh, very much the same. You click add new, fill out the required information

for any transcripts you have, either your bachelor’s or any graduate transcripts. Then for program selection, this is a very important part.

You do wanna select for Graduate. You can search by either campus or by degree. I’m gonna select by degree and then click Masters.

Um, then it will take you to the list of all the programs you scroll all the way down to Information School, uh, MSIM.

Uh, click whichever track and, uh, modality that you’d like to select. I’m going to Early Career Accelerated Online, um,

you select Yes, then you hit save and continue. This will take you to another page, and here you’ll indicate the term

and year that you intend to enroll in the program. So I’m gonna collect the select the current term, summer 2025.

Um, review all this information. Uh, check the box here, hit save, and continue. And then that’s basically it. You’ll be given a prompt

to go over any information you might be missing, but, um, at this point we’ll know, you know, which program you’re interested in

and which term that you’ve selected. So we’ll be able to answer any questions you have about the program itself, the application process,
